With Windows Live Messenger I continuously get error 800401f3 and slow typing on the username field?

I tried several fixes including using Subinacl to do something with the registry and re-registering some DLL's. These fixes worked temporarily but they didn't last for a very long time, they usually lasted until I rebooted my PC. Any suggestions on how to get this error to go away FOREVER? Any help would be greatly appreciated

try restoring your computer to a previous time if you don't know how to do that go to start --%26gt; all programs --%26gt; accessories --%26gt; system tools --%26gt; system restore. If that doesn't work then you can either uninstall the program or the one and final solution that you can do it re-install windows to its regular format when you bought the computer. may the force be with you.
