how long do you have to be inactive for for the "away" thing comes up??

You can set how long you would like it to be.

Click on the little arrow next to your display name and status, a list will a appear, go to Options.

If it's not highlighted already, click on personal on the left hand side. In the 4th group, status it will say show me as inactive if I am away for ___ minutes.

You can change the amount of minutes you'd like it to be.

Then click apply and Ok if you are finished.

you can choose as you wish , in the options
You can set the time in your options menu, but it's typically 10 minutes I think?
5 minutes standard or you can manualy set it yourself for any desired time within the options
I think it's 5 minutes.....
it depends on what your options are set to. Mine's set to switch to "away" after 5 minutes. It could be more, less, or not even set to change.
