f-ing hate vista its reallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy peeing me off argh burn all vista disks!!!!!!!!

i keep getting this error message

xp is the best vista just looks fancy thats all power to XP

Well, it would help to know hat version of Windows Live Messenger, try update it to the latest version.

Seems you also haven't realised what Vista actually is.

When they went from 2000 to XP it was a minor build change, none of the core programming had been looked at or changed, whereas Vistsa is version 6, they have gone back and rewritten a bunch of the core stuff, that allows them to move forward and not bump their head against old core acrhitecture anymore, like the file system, setc.

It may not look like much has changed, but there's actually a major change, you just don't see it all.

Maybe I just see it because I come from a Dev background.

I would say stick with XP for a different reason. It only works well at top spec, and the drivers have not been finished yet. It takes years to do that.

WinXP is stable, stick to it for now.

Well maybe instead of crying about Vista you should actually mention the problem with Live messenger.
well its just msn. im using a mac and im having problems with both messenger and hotmail.

msn always has this problem, its a given...
hey it happens to me all the time too. try to restart your computer then trying to sign in. if that doesnt work, the just delete the programme from you control pannel from add or remove programs, then reinstall it again
