i haev it set to automatically keep a history of my conversations, but sometimes it just doesnt, this is really annoying. Anyone know why this is happening and what i can do to fix it?

If you're using Messenger Plus! then it's likely it's simply a bug and you'll need to wait until it's fixed and install a newer version. See the reference forum post here:

If you don't have Messenger Plus! installed, or don't know what I'm talking about then it might just be a problem with the version of Live Messenger you've got.
Sorry I can't be of more help, but I've had a look around and I can't find anything more out I'm afraid. I hope the first explanation makes some sense.
